Dressing The Part

Sometimes dressing the part really helps to set the appropriate vibe for the service. For one of our Dec. services (see photo), we had the team dress as if they were outside in winter, which fit in well with our outdoorsy-looking trees.
Other times, we put the choir in Colts jerseys (not last year, obviously), dressed in Hawaiian shirts for a “surf/island” feel – once in Chicago, we did a series called “Chicagocity” and dressed up with a Blues Brother’s vibe (that might have been taking it a bit far, now that I think about it…).
