I’m being serious here… Christmas is closer than we think. Why the big deal? To me, Christmas is a real chance to connect with folks who will not enter a church building at any other time. Even moreso than Easter, Christmas services are is a thing that families do together, and so lots of non-church-attending family members get dragged along…. I want to be able to offer them a glimmer of hope that this Jesus thing might actually be true. God will need to do the heart work on them, but I want to make sure that we’re holding the door open as wide as we can. So – today – I’m thinking about Christmas…
