Downtown Indy

This is our walk-in look this weekend. It’s a photo-realistic shot of downtown Indianapolis at Christmas. A neat look, but also a great “homey” touch. Homey touches are important – we have some of our Sunday School (we call it Northview Kids) rooms themed with kid-friendly paintings of sites around the city. The thing that makes it special is that it’s the opposite of generic. It’s specialized, and those touch-points can help us to feel at home in a wildly turbulent and changeable world.
