Mic Or No Mic

Worship team members: Sing whether you have a mic or not. If it’s at all possible for you to play and sing at the same time without sacrificing quality, do so. The difference in actually seeing band members engaged in worship [rather than simply supporting it] is striking. Ideally, you will have the music memorized and will have practiced it enough that you can get your eyes off of your instruments and look the congregation that you are serving in the eye. That will enable you to help lead, for EVERYONE on the platform are worship leaders – not just the paid staff, and not just the vocalists. #creativeworshipideas
