Working The Crowd

OK, that title is NOT really expressive of what I’m trying to get across here…

Every once in awhile, it’s very effective to have something actually happen in the midst of the congregation. It really helps to move things from presentational towards relational (although it does freak some people out when something is happening right next to them). The idea is not to “work” the crowd, but to interact with them. You may get some push-back from techies re: feedback, but it’s completely doable, as long as you don’t position your musician, actor, etc… too close to a speaker. Here’s Matthew West out and about…
