Mirror Image

Here’s an easy way to double your money, lol. Many churches use abstract backgrounds doing worship to add visual energy. A quick aside – one of the reasons that the images are usually abstract is that using literal imagery draws attention to itself and off of what is being expressed in the song. So back to it… Abstract videos are very time-consuming to create, and so very expensive if you’re using staff. Quality video loops are readily available these days, but the cost adds up after awhile. A way to reutilize what you have is to “mirror image” – either vertically or horizontally. It works especially well when you have a lyric bar across the middle, as in the photo. #creativeworshipideas
