Keep The Input Switched On

How are you maintaining and growing your skills? One of the lies that we tell ourselves is that there will – or should – come a day when we will be “done.” When we will have arrived. When we will have all of the leadership skills that we need. Or all of the musical skills. Or all of the technical skills. Etc…

That day will NOT arrive. Developing a “continual learner” mindset is one of the things that sets apart successful people, in my opinion. When you stop seeing the work that it takes to personally grow as a negative, and start embracing it [and even enjoying it], doors often open in ways you might never have expected. Figure out ways to keep “input” switched on in your life, and the “output” may not seem so draining…
