Worship pastors – today, a challenge for you. Make sure that the worship pastor that’s in the green room – and with your friends – and in your home – is the same worship pastor that’s on the platform. We know you’re not perfect – that’s OK – but if you are called to be a worship pastor, people will look to you as an example. Live that out, to the best of your ability. Seek impact, not comfort. Remember who you are – the REAL you that God created you to be.

A quote – or, more accurately, a series of commitments – from Mark Roberts: “As worship pastors, we will attend to our motivations. We will seek to honor God in each moment, not just when we’re in the spotlight. We will put first the spiritual health and growth of our people, surrendering to God our desire for our own success.”
