Daring To Begin

I like to be prepared. I like to have my ducks in a row, etc…. In my ideal world, things would be perfect before a weekend service ever went in front of people. However, this isn’t an ideal world. Senior pastors don’t have 40 hours a week to work on and prepare their messages. Worship leaders (most of them) don’t have Grammy-winning band members that they can call on at any time. Time, money, volunteer support, etc… are all limited commodities…

At some point, you need to say: “OK, this is the best I can do with what I have” and put it out there. God can do amazing things with our imperfect efforts. Make sure that it actually IS the best you can do, though. Don’t let the fact that it can’t be perfect stop it from being good…
