Sometimes, it’s the simple things that really add impact. Putting lights directly beneath drum (and other) platforms can provide a really neat “glow” effect when the overall stage lighting is comparatively dim. Things like this really seem to work best when they are saved for a special moment (a special music song, for example…), rather than being used throughout a service.
