Even more shadowboxes…
When we built our shadowboxes, we knew that it was going to be for a seven week series – so we built them with some ooomph! They were solid wood – braced on the inside because at one time we were going to put people on top of them. The main reason that we went so heavy duty, though, was that we knew that we would be able to reuse the wood. Plus, we just haven’t had that much luck using foam core (see “Ideas That Didn’t Work”)!
