These days, social media is part of the job in church work – particularly if you directly lead volunteer (or even staff) teams. An easy way to say “THANKS!!!” to your team is to simply use the “Tag” feature on Facebook. That alerts them that they are in a photo – people love to see themselves, especially doing something that they really enjoy/is meaningful – like worship/production/video teams and other key volunteer roles. This assumes, of course, that most or all of your team are your Facebook friends. While it’s true that Facebook skews a little older that some other social media options, the reality is that virtually everyone has a Facebook site – which they will check if they know there will be photos of them on there [which they will then repost to Instagram, etc…lol].
