Every once in awhile, you have an idea for a sermon series. You really feel God is calling you to do it, but you know that your church staff has been in continual overdrive with no letup for far too long. Their plates are already full to overflowing, and their creativity has run dry. That’s my word – at least for today – for borrowing materials from other churches who have done something similar. Graphics, videos, services ideas, etc… Most churches are happy to oblige, if you just ask. You don’t want this to be your strategy 100% of the time, but – on occasion – it makes sense. Remember, it usually makes sense to use the best ideas available – not just your ideas. That has something to do with humility, I think…  :  )
