Emphasis

Here’s a photo from a few years back to give a quick idea on how to add some unique qualities to text graphics. Different colors within the text can make certain words or ideas “pop” – the shift in color adds emphasis. The same thing can be done with size or boldness. This is a great tool to get across the main idea of song lyrics.

When used with Scripture, the pastor and team need to be careful to not change or redirect the meaning of the verse through emphasis – it needs to be made very clear that the emphasis is simply being used to help the congregation understand the text.
