There are certain things that you just have to lead by example:

If you want your teams to be optimistic, you need to show optimism.

If you want your teams to be energetic, you need to show energy.

If you want your teams to have integrity, you must be honest.

If you want your teams to listen, you can’t constantly interrupt them.

If you want your teams to show up on time, you must arrive early [perhaps be the first one there].

If you want your teams to be committed for the long haul, you have to commit to them – know them, care for them and help them win.

You can’t be best friends with everyone you know, but you CAN show compassion, bring clarity and model integrity.

Live out the expectations that you have of others.
