Something goes wrong:

  1. Instead of trying to figure out what the breakdown in the process was and what to do about it, we immediately jump to “Whose fault was it?”
  2. We calmly assess our best options to move things forward positively, choosing the option with the highest likelihood of success. We then let everyone who needs info know what’s happening while immediately working to implement the solution. Problem “ownership” is discussed after the fact, privately, and only if necessary.
